About
Thomasina Solum is a Dene Tsaa artist, writer, and educator who resides in Victoria, BC. She feels most at home wandering through forests, muskeg, riverbanks, and the ocean shore. Collecting bones and rocks, creating stories, and sculpting things by her hands are some of her favourite pass times. Her best friend and love of her life is Edmund, her fluffy cat, to whom she is deeply devoted. For he is her friend, guardian, and lord of her household. Whenever Thomasina goes crab trapping, she faithfully offers him half her bounty. Edmund accepts these gifts as ancient and binding law.
